New Design Service From The Mural Factory Solves Major Home Decorator Problem
New York City, New York - January 1, 2006 - Living in a place like New York City, it is commonplace that people are constantly moving or redecorating their homes and apartments. After creating wall murals for several clients, Cindy Avroch began to question the cost effectiveness of permanently painting art on walls that you couldn\'t take with you when you relocate. That\'s when Cindy started offering \"transportable murals\" as well as custom mural wallpaper through her company, The Mural Factory.
The beauty of The Mural Factory\'s transportable murals is that they can be reinstalled in the case of relocation or redecoration plans, without damage to the mural or the wall. To begin with Avroch brought her original creations into the digital age, developing several different techniques that allow her to design concepts for not only murals and wall coverings, but for a variety of coordinated accessories such as lamps, pillows and curtains. She believes that these accessories establish a theme and set a mood, much like a tie or scarf sets off a classic tailored suit or a handbag and shoes complete an outfit. Trimmings, personal accents and additional products can be designed and added to enhance the theme of the environment created specifically for a client. And The Mural Factory\'s product line, which can be viewed at http://www.themuralfactory.com, is continuously expanding with new items and designs as the company grows.
Avroch\'s passion for drawing, design and decorating was sparked at a very young age, never leaving home without pencils and a sketchbook. In addition to receiving an Associates Degree in Textile Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, the New York native won a scholarship to study abroad at the Winchester School of Art in Winchester, England. Soon after, she launched her odyssey in the fashion industry that has spanned more than 22 years.
During her career, Avroch was a designer of innovative textiles, screen prints and embroideries, table linens, bedding, bath towels and shower curtains, for various private label and name brand sportswear, sleepwear and home furnishings companies. Her trendy designs for men, women, children, juniors and the home furnishings segments could be found in major department stores and popular-priced merchants throughout the country. In addition to her own standard art style, her body of work includes working with licenses of the omnipresent images of Looney Tunes, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Disney Classics, Peanuts, the Rugrats and Betty Boop.
Most recently, Avroch has launched an online gallery of work with murals and coordinated accessories. She creates original designs for both consumers and corporate, and her work has appeared in fine homes and businesses from Manhattan to Zurich, Switzerland.
